US-based death/gothic rock act Sinister Shadows have released another single and video, "Just Begun", taken from their upcoming self‑titled debut album, due out on 26 March via The Doorway To.
Born from a deep love of Eighties and Nineties death rock and goth rock — drawing inspiration from Bauhaus, The Cure, The Sisters Of Mercy, The Mission, and Nick Cave — Sinister Shadows is the creation of mastermind Ryan Michalski (Idiot Robot, Ryan Cosmonaught). With this project, Michalski aims to revive the darkness, romance, and dramatic flair that have long been missing from the genre.
The album was recorded throughout 2025 at Ryan's RPM Studios in Tampa, Florida. It also features contributions from his long‑time musical partner, Clint Listing (The Slumbering), who provides both the intro and outro to the record. Link
