Ylisia's music is a clever blend of powerful vocals, catchy melodies, and driving rhythms, drawing inspiration from legendary acts like The Gathering, Evanescence, Within Temptation, and Kate Bush. Since their formation in 2021, the band has captivated audiences with their dynamic live shows, performing at renowned festivals like FemME, Bevrijdingfestival Wageningen, and Nieuwveen Live.
The band comments: "We are very pleased and grateful for the opportunity to sign with WormHoleDeath. After careful consideration, we were excited to join forces with them to bring our music to a larger audience. We believe WormHoleDeath will provide the tools and network that will boost our visibility worldwide. We're looking forward to this new chapter in our journey!"
Underneath is more than just a symphonic metal album - it's a deeply personal expression of emotion. Built around the compositions of keyboardist George van Olffen, the record captures two decades of musical ideas, coming to life with the current line-up formed in 2021. Underneath was meticulously mixed and mastered by Daan Janzing, ensuring a sound that strikes the perfect balance between heaviness and melody. The artwork of Gogo Malone completes the package.
