The rising German black metal force Imha Tarikat has released a brand new single "Murderflesh". This is an off-album track as an exclamation mark in advance of the autumn leg of their European tour. "Murderflesh" is also a first taste of new great things to come next year, although the track will not appear on the next full-length.
"Our new song "Murderflesh" deals with bitter and furious emotions", mastermind Kerem Yilmaz reveals. "Desperate and hopeless for change, grasping for anything in the world to outgrow suffering, some will resort to extremes. In doing so, many lose pieces of themselves that they can never retrieve. Criminals, addicts, the corrupt, fanatics, apostates, and whoever you care to name – all committ murder on themselves, within their flesh, and to the flesh of others."
In other news, Imha Tarikat will tour in support of their acclaimed latest album Hearts Unchained – At War With A Passionless World, which was released in December 2022 via Lupus Lounge, a sub-label of Prophecy Productions. Dates are below. Link
