US post‑punk/shoegaze entity Lowsunday have shared a video for the track "Someone To Talk To" taken from their latest Ghost Machine – Black EP, released in May under Projekt Records.

"Someone to Talk To" explores the tension between the longing for connection and the painful realisation that the person we trust may not be who they appear to be. Wrapped in a shadowy, dream‑like atmosphere, the song transforms heartbreak and disillusionment into something strangely serene — an intimate portrait of vulnerability, misplaced trust, and the difficulty of letting go.

The lyrics follow someone reaching out for companionship while becoming entangled in a relationship marked by deception, betrayal and emotional dependence. Its central idea suggests that loneliness can cloud judgement, causing us to mistake attention for genuine care and overlook warning signs until the truth becomes impossible to ignore. The repeated declarations of love set against accusations of cruelty capture the song's emotional contradiction: attachment can survive even after trust has been shattered. Link
