French post-punk/dark rock duo Varsovie released a brand new single and official video "Kissa Kouprine". This is the first revealed single of Varsovie's upcoming fourth album, L'Ombre et la Nuit, which will be released in April 2021 via Icy Cold Records. As for the visuals of the album, the video was directed by the Irish artist Deborah Sheedy and you can watch it in the player below.
Varsovie was formed in 2005 in Grenoble (France) by Arnault Destal (drums, lyrics, music) and Grégory Catherina (vocals, guitars, music). Their upcoming full length, L'Ombre et la Nuit (eng. the shadow and the night) is certainly the darkest album of the band so far. Still with French lyrics and on a tight, nervous, melancholic line, those ten songs continue to reformulate the vertigos of our time through emblematic figures, crepuscular atmospheres and intimate crisis.
