Tearing The BlackBox, a new collaboration between renowned Dutch musician/producer Frank Weyzig (Born For Bliss, Vaselyne, ex-Clan Of Xymox) and Canadian musician/producer Kelly Cook (ex-Moev), have unleashed the first single and video "Devil World". Dates for the official online release for streaming on Spotify and other online streaming platforms will follow soon.
Frank Weyzig had this to say about his new project: "A few months ago I started a new project together with Kelly Cook, ex bass player with Moev, a band from Canada that you probably will remember. I toured the USA with Clan Of Xymox together with Moev during the summer of 1989. Me and Kelly then became friends but lost contact. Now, in the present time, we connected again and we have been working on some music ideas. First it was just something we did for fun and we bounced our files and audio tracks over the internet, across the ocean and worked on different ideas. But all along the way, these ideas became songs and these songs became full grown mixes and now we are the point that we actually surprised ourselves with the sound output of this new music. We have already enough material for a complete full album and we are planning to release a first EP somewhere around spring 2021."
And about the first single he adds: "We live in a time when we can no longer distinguish the truth from a lie on social media and on other different media channels. The internet has become a minefield of disinformation. You have to navigate it carefully. It’s like swimming with sharks. So get ready to tear apart the (music)box that holds the truth and let the music speak for itself." Link
