FOREVER AUTUMN - Releases New Track From The Upcoming EP

Massachusetts (USA) based blackened doom metal act Forever Autumn has just released the uncompromisingly dark track "Amoung The Roots", a new song that presents a beautifully idiosyncratic approach to blackened doom metal. The track is taken from the upcoming EP, Hail The Forest Dark, to be released on the 3rd of September.

The whole Hail The Forest Dark EP represents something of a sonic departure from Forever Autumn's usual acoustic doom/blackened folk. "Amoung The Roots" brings Autumn Ni Dubhghaill's harsh distorted guitar and terrifying black metal screams to the fore, whilst folk-style instruments reinforce the song's chilling and ritualistic atmosphere.

Ni Dubhghaill commented about the EP: "This work is intended as a temporary departure from traditional Forever Autumn. It is a way to highlight the Black and Doom so underlyingly present in all Forever Autumn work. This is not a new direction, but an artistic expression. Forever Autumn remains dedicated to the vehicles of Acoustic Doom, Blackened Death Folk, et alia. Thank you for your continued support." Link
