The end of the year is approaching and with it the time for a few contemplative hours! What fits better to the crackling fireplace than a little mythical sound? Today the Austrian trio The Devil & The Universe present you with a new track with classic goat-wave. Tribal drums create futuristic sounds. Deep rumblings mixed with female lamentations and above everything a voice proclaiming the death of the great god Pan. The audience's feet will twitch involuntarily.
The Devil & The Universe let us take notice with the new single "The Great God Pan Is Dead (Long Live The Great God Pan)", the first single from the album Goatopia, which will be released in early 2022. Thematically, we encounter the Greek god Pan, who is able to scare up entire herds - to panic them. The Devil & The Universe also stir up: their audience onto the dance floor that is. Pan's death is heralded, only to immediately resurrect him again. Because lust, ecstasy and life can't be killed, but they are rather an occasion to celebrate.
