Canadian gothic/dark metal band Malacoda has released a new version of "Our Special Place", originally from its 2018' album Restless Dreams.
Malacoda's mastermind Lucas Di Mascio explains: "We never could figure out how to fit it in with a live set because of how long the song was (clocking in at around 12 mins!). We've always loved this track, and we decided to take a section of it and reimagine it so we could tie it in with our more recent direction changes. The footage used in the lyric video was filmed in 2017 during the production of Restless Dreams, shot in Toronto's Mount Pleasant Cemetery".
And adds: "We'll have a few more things to share regarding this new version of "Our Special Place", and then we'll be buckling down to work on the next Malacoda project. Enjoy the video, this isn't all from us this year".
