Austrian dark/goth/post-punk rock masters Whispers In The Shadow have announced a new full-length, to be released on 25 August by Solar Lodge Records.
The band's mastermind Ashley Dayour appeals: "Dear Good People, as you read this, we are about to finish our new studio album Ghosts. Instead of the usual crowdfunding campaign, we decided to do an extended pre-sale to help finance the production of our 11th full-length release.
If you want to give us a helping hand, every order will be very much appreciated. There is, of course, an exclusive band store deluxe bundle option including the album, shirt, bag, sticker, hand-numbered & autographed postcard and a remix/outtakes digital EP.
Everyone who orders the album until the end of May will receive a pre-release download code with two of these new songs. The code will be sent to you by the end of May.
All orders will be shipped a couple of weeks before the actual release date.
The album contains eight tracks and is a very moody monster. It contains some pretty heavy, bold, daring and uncompromising pieces of music. There's a haunting sonic quality to it which makes it our darkest and most personal record in a while. Some first glimpses will be revealed soon.
The cover artwork is once again created by Billyphobia and, honestly think it might be one of the best artworks yet. It looks exactly like how the record sounds like.
No vinyl, you ask? Indeed.
Believe me, we have our reasons.
The album will be available on CD and later on digital.
