CALLIOPE - Returns To Wear The Clothes Of Anger In The New Single/Video

Italian artist Calliope, the solo project of singer/songwriter Tamara Macera, just recently released a brand new single "Gioia Bionda" and is now available on all streaming platforms. The music video was also released together with the song in collaboration with Red Digital Cinema. Calliope returns to wear the clothes of anger, in a song that speaks of emotional dissent, a song that delves into the misunderstanding of human dynamics and the mediocrity of social response. What else to do but scream your disgust and offer it to the world?

Graduated in opera singing from the Gaetano Braga State Higher Institute of Musical and Dance Studies in Teramo, Calliope reveals the truest part of her musical writing. The young girl's project is a journey of rediscovery of aggressive sounds and hermetic lyrics, based on a punk/alternative style. The use of the word in its entirety in tones that give space to a serious and full-bodied mezzo-soprano voice is fundamental. Each song does not look at specific themes, it aims to express some truth, all seasoned with a good dose of disenchantment and disillusionment. The same goes for music which never transcends the word and becomes its servant.
