Even if the current temperatures speaking a whole different language, autumn is already stretching out its feelers. Time for some Finnish gothic/doom melancholia in form of the brand new Hanging Garden single and video "Embers" off their forthcoming album entitled Blackout Whiteout!
Hanging Garden's guitarist Jussi Hämäläinen commented: "Embers was a song we all liked from the start. With simple riffs and dreamlike melodies, the song just got better and better as we went on with the recordings. Finally mr. Fredrik Norrman added his personal touch and the song was perfect. It's also the first Hanging Garden song without any aggressive vocals."
Keyboardist Nino Hynninen added about the video concept: "We had already a couple of years ago the idea of using acrobatics or dance as a narrative element in a music video. The idea about collaboration on "Embers" with the talented circus artist Juho Sarno arose during the recordings and you can really feel the emotion, spirit and force he's conveying in communication with fire and embers."
Bands 4th full-lenght, a successor to At Every Door (2013) and EP I Was A Soldier (2013), Blackout Whiteout, which features special gust performances by Ville Sorvali (Moonsorrow) and Fredrik Norrman (October Tide, ex-Katatonia, Thenighttimeproject), will be released on 25th September in Europe and on 16th October in North america through Lifeforce Records. Enjoy in video below. The front cover artwork is as well already revealed and you can check it out below under the video. Link
