Swedish symphonic extreme metallers Zornheym premiered online a brand new video clip for the track "The Opposed". The track is taken from bands upcoming debut album entitled Where Hatred Dwells, And Darkness Reigns, which will be released this winter under the auspice of Non Serviam Records. Watch the video in the player below.
The video tells the story of one of Zornheym's more violent and strange inmates. A man stricken with a demonic face on the back of his head, hell bent on possessing him for it's own malevolent purposes. Find out the rest of this tale when you watch the video in the player below.
Zorn comments: "Working with Martin has been an absolute honor. He is a perfectionist and really has the eye for telling a story. I think he has captured the essence of prisoner ZH000A27's agony. Also Bendler has pulled off a hell of performance starring as the main character and Ingela Larsson's make up is just mind blowing!!!"
Zornheym was founded in Stockholm and is led by multi-instrumental mastermind and songwriter Zorn (known as ex-member of Dark Funeral, former member of death/thrash metallers Devian and a guitarist in hardcore combo Aktiv Dödshjälp). Drawing inspirations from the likes of King Diamond, Dissection and Dimmu Borgir; the music contains elements ranging from melodic to crushingly heavy sound portrayed by the wide array of instrumental textures. The band has already come up with two singles — "The Opposed" and "A Silent God" — via Non Serviam Records, both of these tracks have got very strong responses from the listeners. Link
