MIST OF MISERY - Second Single Out Of Upcoming EP Premiered Online

Swedish atmospheric/symphonic/depressive black metal masters Mist Of Misery just premiered online the second single out of their upcoming EP Shackles Of Life. The EP will be released on 31st August via Black Lion Records. Shackles Of Life is the first of two EP's to be released this year. In the player below you can give a listen to the EP opener and title track "Shackles Of Life".
Guitarist Phlegathon comments about the new track: ""Shackles Of Life" is the title track for the first EP in the duo release that Mist Of Misery is about to unleash. We already released a song with the exact same title many years ago, but this new track is re-written from scratch and features some of the bands most emotionally charged music and lyrics to date. It is an epic DSBM anthem that truly crystallizes what the band is all about in many ways."
Shackles Of Life and the next one EP, Fields Of Isolation, were both written and recorded during 2016 in studio Forlorn Halls and on various private locations around Stockholm. The EP was mastered by Ronnie Björnström of EAP Mix Room in Sweden 2017.
The band comments: "The themes on both EP's vary quite a lot from our earlier works, but the original concept of Mist Of Misery is still there. Those who have heard our latest release, Absence, will surely find some similarities to both that album and also to our earlier releases." Artwork was done by talented Russian artist Alex Tartsus  and various other artists contributed to the booklet artwor , it's one of the most well made booklets we ever seen. Recently Terra Relicta webmagazine premiered the first single, "Broken Chains", over HERE, on the same location you can find even more details about the upcoming EP.
