Terra Relicta webmagazine has teamed up with enigmatic Scottish atmospheric/gothic/post-prog rock female duo Midas Fall to offer you an exclusive premiere of their brand new single "Blink".
The two Scottish girls are following on from their amazing, transcedental and critically acclaimed fourthth album, Evaporate, released in April 2018 by Monotreme Records (read the review over HERE), and for which the band was awarded the prestigious Prog Magazine 'Limelight Award' and placement in many top albums of 2018 lists, today Midas Fall (Elizabeth Heaton and Rowan Burn) presents a brand new single, "Blink", to tie in with their European tour dates.
Says Elizabeth Heaton: ""Blink" is about having your expectations shattered in just a blink of an eye and the journey of self-doubt that follows. Originally a short acoustic track that captured that feeling, the song then evolved into a more progressive/post rock song in the rehearsal room - one that we are very excited about playing live for the first time on our upcoming tour."
Lush and cinematic, the track swoops and soars, with Heaton's gorgeous evocative vocals gliding delicately above. The single will be officially released worldwide by Monotreme Records on 22nd February 2019. Listen to "Blink" in the player below!
For the occasion, the band will be touring Benelux, Germany and Eastern Europe as a four-piece (with Chris MacKinnon on bass and Calum MacVicar on drums) and the show include a full audio-visual performance.
