Scottish atmospheric/gothic/post-prog rock female duo Midas Fall is now unveiling the new single, "Dust And Bone". The single is taken from the upcoming album entitled Evaporate, which is already the fourth full-lenght for Midas Fall and will be released worldwide by Monotreme Records on 27th April. Evaporate shimmers with a dark, gothic grace, delicate and brutal in equal measure – from the desperate, savage cacophony of "Bruise Pusher" to the elegant ascension of "Sword To Shield" - it smoothly conjures stunning soundscapes at every turn. Midas Fall recorded their fourth album in Argyll, Scotland, and it was recorded, mixed and mastered by Elizabeth Heaton. The artwork of Evaporate is done by Ásgeir Helgi Prastarson.
The utterly beautiful and evocative "Dust And Bone" ratchets up the tension with dark, ominous drones paired with shards of dischordant melodies and Elizabeth Heaton's quietly unsettling vocals, rising to a jarring, impassioned climax that reflects the track's themes of inner turmoil. It's a subtle, highly atmospheric, emotional and hauntingly immersive song and you should take some of your time and click the play button in the player below, you might find in Midas Fall a new soundtrack of your life!
