Neoclassical dark ambient outfit Amber Asylum has unveiled the next advance track, "The Morrigan", of its impending album, Ruby Red, rescheduled for release via Prophecy Productions to a new date on 7 March.
Amber Asylum's frontwoman Kris Force reveals: "In 'The Morrigan', a driving instrumental, we invoke the ancient Irish-Celtic goddess who presides over battlefields, serving as a poignant reminder of the fragility of life and the inevitability of death. With powerful rhythms and captivating melodies, the track serves as a solemn meditation on life and death. Each note pulses with a primal energy, echoing the timeless cycle of birth, battle, and rebirth associated with the Morrigan. Through its raw intensity and unyielding momentum, the song beckons listeners to confront the harsh realities of mortality while embracing the transformative power of acceptance".
