German symphonic metal powerhouse Beyond The Black have returned with their sixth studio album, Break The Silence, out now via Nuclear Blast Records. Marking a new creative chapter for the band, the release arrives alongside a visually striking music video for the single “Let There Be Rain”, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Pavel Trebukhin.
Break The Silence stands as one of the band’s most ambitious works to date — a concept album where melodic metal, cinematic soundscapes, and subtle ethnic textures intertwine. Lyrically, it explores themes of resilience, reconnection, and the human need to rise above the noise of a fractured world. The result is a record that feels both intimate in emotion and grand in scale.
The album also features notable guest contributions from Chris Harms of Lord Of The Lost and Asami of Lovebites, each adding their own distinctive energy to the band’s evolving sonic palette.
Vocalist Jennifer Haben reflects on the creative process behind the album: “On Break The Silence, we opened the door to new influences and collaborations. From symphonic to ethnic elements and guest artists who brought their own style into the mix — this album reflects everything we love about making music without boundaries. It’s a powerful blend of who we are and who we’re becoming.”
With its emotional depth, refined production, and renewed artistic confidence, Break The Silence positions Beyond The Black firmly at the forefront of modern symphonic metal. Link
