Over the past two decades, symphonic/synth‑metal powerhouse Delain have established themselves as a defining force in modern melodic metal, renowned for their commanding songwriting, distinctive sonic identity, and ever‑evolving sound. Since the release of their debut album, Lucidity, twenty years ago, the band has cultivated a dedicated international following with acclaimed records such as April Rain, We Are The Others, The Human Contradiction, and their most recent success, Dark Waters (2023) — Delain's most celebrated release to date.
Marking the 20th anniversary of Lucidity, Delain now enter a new creative chapter, officially launching it with the announcement of ten special live shows in February 2027. This anniversary tour will feature a unique format, bringing together a curated line‑up of high‑profile guest musicians and vocalists to deliver an exceptional and varied live experience.
Among the confirmed guests is Marko Hietala, whose long‑standing artistic connection with band mastermind Martijn Westerholt has produced some of Delain's most iconic collaborations. His return for this tour promises a powerful reunion and a major highlight for fans. Additional guest performers will be revealed in due course.
With this remarkable run of shows, Delain invite audiences to experience their music from a fresh perspective — celebrating both the band's legacy and the creative horizons that lie ahead. Link
