Italian cosmic doom metal band Ghostheart Nebula is further raising the anticipation for the majestic outpouring of darkness from beyond the stars, the new album, Blackshift, which will be out on 17 October through Meuse Music Records. The band has unveiled a new single - "Orphan Of Light". The song is full of masterful dynamic shifts and its sound is all-enveloping, with as much power in the quietest moments as in the gargantuan riffs.
The band comments: "Contrasts is the key word with 'Orphan Of Light'. On one side the desperate cries of a son who seeks spiritual comfort in the astral figure of the 'Mother Light', in a limbo made of rarified atmospheres, spatial synths and explosive crescendos. The track moves in this dualism between light and void in which all the instruments chase each other in a roller coaster of emotions that perfectly paints the meaning of the entire Blackshift and marks the closure of the album."
