Finland's black/doom/folk collective Hexvessel are set to embark on their European tour tomorrow in support of their latest album, Nocturne — a work steeped in pagan and animist spirit, where nature and the unseen converge. The record was released last June through Prophecy Productions.
For this run of shows, Hexvessel will join forces with the French occult rock pioneers Aluk Todolo.
Vocalist and songwriter Mat "Kvohst" McNerney commented: "Our journey to the nightside is now open to all travellers. The ticket is a sacrifice of time but the rewards are timeless. Take it with you outside or let it take you outside. We are for the dark, not for death, but alive in fire".
To commemorate the tour, Nocturne will be available as a limited-edition gatefold marbled black & silver 2LP, sold exclusively at the merch desk and in the shop. Link
