German gothic rock visionaries Merciful Nuns have unveiled their haunting new single, "Star Pulse (The Lesser Seal)", the second glimpse into their forthcoming album, Nebulae, due for release on 12 November via Solar Lodge. Following the atmospheric first offering, "Vaeloria", the new track further expands the enigmatic universe that has become a defining hallmark of the band’s artistic identity.
Serving as the concluding chapter of the ambitious Kvltan Tetralogy, Nebulae brings to a close one of the most compelling and mythologically rich narratives in contemporary dark rock. Throughout the series, Merciful Nuns have crafted a vast sonic cosmos where mysticism, cosmic symbolism, and gothic romanticism intertwine, and with Nebulae, that journey reaches its final transmission.
Yet, in true Merciful Nuns fashion, endings are merely another passage. There is no definitive beginning, no absolute conclusion, only an eternal continuation through shifting cosmic currents. Nebulae emerges as a final message from a realm never intended to be fully deciphered, inviting listeners once more into the shadows between stars and dreams.
