Finnish dark electro‑rock outfit The Fair Attempts has released its new single, “Ghost Within”, a gothic‑tinged track that dives deep into the shadows of the human psyche.
The song explores the “inner monsters” that shape self‑perception — intrusive thoughts, corrosive doubt, and the quiet pride that precedes collapse. Its lyrics frame self‑awareness as a disorienting hall of mirrors, where every reflection reveals another hidden fear.
“This is a theme I’ve touched on before because it’s something I struggle with,” says frontman Timo Haakana. “Ghosts may be coming to get you, but there’s one already inside you.”
Written during a period of intense introspection, “Ghost Within” captures the emotional nucleus of the band’s forthcoming full‑length album, Null Guide. Rather than conquering inner demons, the track suggests a more nuanced truth: learning to coexist with them. The previously released single "Anniversary Of Our Destruction" can be found over HERE.
