Swedish dark electro/industrial outfit Thin Eater has unveiled its new single, "Infernal Motions", a brooding descent into the weight of generational trauma. Stark, pulsing, and emotionally unflinching, the track reflects on the patterns we inherit and the ones we struggle to break — whether consciously or not. It marks the duo’s second standalone release since their self-titled debut full‑length.
Formed in 2022, Thin Eater fuses the grit of industrial darkwave with the shadowed tension of post‑punk, carving out a sound that is both visceral and introspective. After a string of early singles, the band issued their self‑titled debut album in March 2025, earning attention for its cold, driving atmospheres and emotional depth.
On stage, Thin Eater have already stood alongside notable acts such as Priest, Then Comes Silence, and The Foreign Resort, steadily building a reputation for intense, immersive performances. Their next appearance is set for 17 January at Gothenburg’s Winterwaves festival, where they will join a lineup headlined by the legendary Das Ich. Link
