Italian‑Danish melodic modern metal collective W’t’M have released their new single “A Million Mistakes (Is All It Takes)”, accompanied by a lyric video now available online. Mixed and mastered by Andreas Linnemann at Hop House Studio and issued through PopShit Records, the track offers the first glimpse into the band’s upcoming album, with full details still to be announced.
W’t’M began in 2022 as an online collaboration between Italian vocalist Marica Moire and a group of Danish musicians led by bassist Ole Quist. What started as a remote exchange quickly evolved into a fully realised band, merging hard rock and modern metal with a strong melodic sensibility, dynamic arrangements, and a clear focus on emotional impact.
The project expanded further in 2023 with the addition of vocalist Michael Bastholm Dahl (ex‑Artillery). His presence introduced a compelling dual‑vocal interplay, balancing expressive melodic passages with heavier, more direct moments — a contrast that has since become central to W’t’M’s identity.
In May 2025, the band released their debut album Witness The Madness, which marked their official arrival on the international scene. The album’s release was followed by their first live performances: a debut show at Nordic Noise Festival in Copenhagen in May, and a subsequent appearance at the Copenhell Pre‑Event in June. These early concerts demonstrated how a band formed entirely online could translate its chemistry into a convincing and energetic stage presence.
With “A Million Mistakes (Is All It Takes),” W’t’M continue shaping their sound — modern, melodic, emotionally charged, and driven by the tension between two distinct vocal approaches. Fans of Within Temptation, Evanescence, Lacuna Coil, Halestorm, Temperance, Pretty Maids, and Deep Purple will find much to appreciate as the band moves toward the next chapter of their evolution.
