THE KRYPTIK - Announces Release Of New Mini Album, Presents Cover Track Of Mayhem's "Funeral Fog"

The Brazilian symphonic black metal duo The Kryptik have set 30th of October as the international release date for a new mini-album, Behold Fortress Inferno. The album will be released via Purity Through Fire. Behold Fortress Inferno is a moodier and more overtly medieval experience than anything The Kryptik did before, charging hard into the fog of the ancients with two epic-length tracks before a haunting interlude resets the stage.

While it'd be semi-accurate to state that Behold Fortress Inferno is an equal counterpart to When The Shadows Rise (2019), that would only serve to undercut The Kryptik's undeniable artistry and care for craft - and when black metal, symphonic or otherwise, is done with this much passion and poignancy, the fact that it exists at all should be celebrated.

Begin beholding the aforementioned with the first revealed track, a new cover of Mayhem's cult "Funeral Fog", which is meant as a tribute to Euronymous and can be heard in the player below. The track features Necromaniac from UTU. Link
