VOID - Announces New Album, First Track Available For Streaming

London (UK) based avant-garde black metal band Void announced that they will release their third full-length titled The Hollow Man on 29th January 2021 via Duplicate Records. The band has now made available for streaming the opening track "The Hollow Men", and you can hear it in the player below. Void is now returning with a new album after 10 years since their second self-titled album.

Voids third full-length is a concept album breathing urban dystopia and existential despair, inspired by T.S. Eliot’s poem ‘The hollow men’, the album tells the story of an individual who reads the poem and follows him through psychotic breakdowns, nightmares, visions, and the experience of the apocalypse. It's a cinematic and existentialist tale of loss, grief and broken messianic hopes. Musically, the album weaves together elements of progressive black metal with orchestral arrangements, electronica and spoken word.

Void are combining disparate influences and scorning convention since 1999. Their debut album, Posthuman, was released back in 2002, but now you should listen to the brand new track "The Hollow Men" by clicking play in the player below. Link
