German prolific artist, composer and vocalist Nino Sable, better known as the frontman of gothic rock formation Aeon Sable and from recently as a singer in Unwished, will release not one but two albums, Thorns I and Thorns II. The first one will see the light of the day on the 10th of November, while the second will follow on the 1st of December.
Nino Sable explains: "Thorns I and Thorns II are about synths, dsrg and avantgarde. These are not the high polished, pop bum bum crash crash songs everybody will love - this is the true spirit of Sodenliah made tune. All tracks ripped out of my diary between 2020 and 2023."
All of the tracks were composed by Nino Sable, but with additional vocals by Sudlice on "dsrg" (Thorns I), additional electronic arrangements by Peter from AnAstromo on "K" (Thorns I), backing vocals by Annika Clarissa on "Instructions" (Thorns II), plus additional guitars and vocals by Ariel Maniki on "Viva La Muerte" (Thorns II).
Nino Sable presents in Thorns his intimate, raw and non-genre compositions, sounds and melodies. On the two new albums, you can expect a wide range of singing styles, a lot of electronic instruments (synths, arps,...) as well as distorted guitars, basses and drums. This is music where cold wave meets pop and metal.
If you are already a fan of Nino Sable or Aeon Sable, then this is a must-listen, you might get surprised, but even if you are new to his music endeavours, we guarantee that every dark music enthusiast will find something that suits him.
