Prosper In Darkness presents the Blåsvart Aften Vol. 8 concert on the 19th of November in Trondheim Norway. Featuring Trepaneringsritualen, Cities Last Broadcast, Tholen Tarfield, and Aural Whiteout @ Good Omens Bar.
Trepaneringsritualen (SWE) who performs ritual ambient blended with death industrial is always an insane performance, bringing as much desolation and gore to his visuals as he does to his music. Trepaneringsritualen should be enough to pull in a crowd, but there is plenty more to this concert!
Cities Last Broadcast (SWE), the dark ambient side-project of Par Bostrom from Kammarheit, just came off of their sophomore release, The Humming Tapes. Released on Cryo Chamber, this album was a huge hit with long-time fans of his work.
Tholen from Germany are another dark ambient act. While the albums feature a cinematic style, live performances are deep drone rituals for drifting through both, celestial and infernal states of the mind.
Tarfield (NOR) are an electro-acoustic duo who work within the realms of drones, field recordings, noise and improvised contemporary music, and also with some performative and quasi-ritualistic elements. For this event the duo will present their expression within the dark ambient sphere and predicts it to be their darkest set yet.
Aural Whiteout is a black ambient project by Ketil Søraker also known from Taphephobia, Mulm and as an ex-member of Northaunt. This project, having mainly contributed to compilations will only be performing its second and possibly final live set at Blåsvart Aften, so this should be another jewel to remember!
To top this excellent line-up off, Reverse Alignment has contributed goodie packages with free cd giveaways, to be given to fans: first come, first serve. So get there early! Prosper In Darkness Productions is run by Jan Roger Pettersen of Svartsinn, but keep in mind, he will only be organizing, not performing at this event.
