Hypnagoga Press have announced the release of their second edition of The Solar Zine and the debut by Altarmang. Releasing on Winter Solstice, 21 December, The Solar Zine will come with Void the debut album of Altarmang, limited to 50 copies. Altarmang is the latest project by Pär Boström of Kammarheit, Cities Last Broadcast, and Hymnambulae. Pär Boström along with Kenneth Hansson, the reel-to-reel tape recorder specialist and other half of Altarmang, create a dark ritualistic opus, sure to put the listener into a deep trance-like state. Void should especially appeal to fans of various ritual ambient artists on Aural Hypnox. Hypnagoga Press says about the album, "[Void is] an album that is part intuitive reel-to-reel tape storytelling, herbal alchemy and ceremonial surrendering." Void will be released exclusively with the physical edition of The Solar Zine as a cassette and as a download code.
