Swedish grandeurs of melancholic heaviness Katatonia are getting ready to embark on another tour. Their Waking State Of Europe 2027 tour will see the group bring the dark, weighty riffs and delicate atmospheric textures of their latest album, Nightmares As Extensions Of The Waking State, released last year on Napalm Records, to new audiences and destinations across Europe.
The trek gets underway in Hanover, Germany, on 31 March 2027, before making its way through a string of European cities over the following weeks. The run concludes on home soil with a performance in Lund, Sweden, on 17 April 2027.
Joining the five-piece on the road will be Canadian post-punk act Bonnie Trash, while an additional special guest is still to be revealed.
