Ereb Altor - Blot-Ilt-Taut

There's a band coming from Sweden named Ereb Altor, who is carrying the legacy of Bathory like no other. Now Ereb Altor comes with a new offering named Blot - Ilt - Taut (which is old Swedish and means nothing less than Blood - Fire - Death), and yes, it's a tribute to their main influence and inspiration - Bathory. Featuring seven legendary cult hymns, released by Bathory in the period between 1984 until 1991. Blot-Ilt-Taut is a golden commemoration to one of the biggest names of metal music! Merciful Nuns - Thelema VIII

The new offering of Merciful Nuns is nothing but a masterpiece. Not so many times an album with its unrelenting pathos has the power to make even your heart and even the bones tremble. Thelema VIII is a sonic journey through radiant dimensions of mind, into all things occult, it's some kind of a cinematic dark goth/ambient/rock adventure with a constant dreary presence that awakens the inner dark thoughts of the listener. Near Earth Orbit - Mission E.D.E.N.

Mission E.D.E.N. is the last part of the trilogy which started in 2015 with the stunning album End Of All Existence and continued later with Trans Neptunian Objects. Mission E.D.E.N. is a very cohesive, yet complex and absolutely epic piece of dark art, it's very hypnotic, sometimes almost psychedelic but often so very accumulative that simply calls for many repetitive listens. This trilogy is a sonic movie which requires your intelect, it's a perfect mixture of post-apocalypse, paranoia and fiction. LINK / REVIEW / LISTEN

Noctiferia - Transnatura

Transnatura is unique and very complex work of art, it's a bewitching experiment that with use of untypical elements offers music for those who are willing to explore the depths of something evil, wicked and dark in nature, but at the same time it's so very alive and colourful. The band was finally able to show their more vulnerable side, with this bold move they gained in atmosphere and lucidity. Transnatura is an album that brings shivers down the spine! Sweet Ermengarde - Ex Oblivione

Everything you ever searched in gothic rock and even more is right here. Ex Oblivione offers thirteen tracks full of dense atmosphere, melancholy, darkness, strange quite modern compositional twists, hellish power and sublime melodies. Ex Oblivione is one of the best gothic rock albums ever, it's adventurous, lush, will make your feelings waveing with its sonorities that will push you into hell and then make you see how it's like in heaven. Good production, intriguing compositions, Lovecraftian lyrics, melancholic, yet rich in atmosphere. LINK / REVIEW / LISTEN

The Foreshadowing - Seven Heads Ten Horns

The Foreshadowing never disappointed so far, rather than that every single album they've released is more or less a culmination, a proper masterpiece and a highlight of the genre called gothic/doom metal. Seven Heads Ten Horns is an album that needs to be heard in one spin, from the start until the very last note, because it offers so very much and tells the story in such a picturesque way full of emotions and darkness, yet leading unto dreamlike universe. The Human Voice - Silent Heart

With a focus on emotions and the human condition Silent Heart is filled with relaxing midnight-recording sessions of beautiful piano pieces, guitar drones, and field recordings overlayed with some very moving samples.
