Our annual competition Terra Relicta Dark Music Awards has started! It's the 5th edition already! Believe us that it was really difficult to select the albums that are nominated because there was really a lot of good music in many dark genres released last year. But still, those albums which impressed us more than others have been nominated as a candidate for the best dark album of 2016.
Like each year, first we prepared a preliminary round. By a drawing we separated 63 nominees into 9 preliminary groups, plus there is one group where you can add your favorite album; this group is called "write in vote". The two albums with highest amount of votes from each preliminary group will go into the final round where we'll have 20 albums fighting for the title - Best Dark Album Of The Year 2016.
