Eternal Helcaraxe - In Times Of Desperation

Eternal Helcaraxe released one of those types of albums that you can put on repeat and listen to it without stopping. In Times Of Desperation is well arranged with considerable dynamics that is impossible to deny. This band has this kind of ability to refresh their music without falling out of black metal, but still mantaining their own unique style. They nicely implement their tracks with acoustic segments and synthesizers are put on very well, they blend in with other layers perfectly and these Irish guys can sprinkle and add glows of glory to their art.

Evadne - A Mother Named Death

A Mother Named Death is one of those doom/death metal records that you just love from the start. A Mother Named Death is as beautiful as it is sorrowful. Evadne is not the type of doom band where you can expect them to be lingering on one riff for ten minutes, they bring everything to their game. Sometimes the songs are almost too fast for being described as a proper doom metal. This is just that extra piece that fits so well with the gloomy days ahead and all human plauges.

Hidden By Ivy - Beyond

Hidden By Ivy did a fantastic job on Beyond, they offer a sombre work of art that is highly emotional, passionate and melancholic. In here nostalgic dream-pop landscapes meet the new wave nervousness in a splendid way. Hidden By Ivy made everything so very appealing for those who want their music to be so very sensitive yet elaborate in every single detail. The flow of the songs is mesmerizing, it simply grabs you from head to toe.

Northumbria – Markland

The wall of thick and foggy sounds lull you in and out of consciousness taking you on a ride not knowing where you may end up, what curiosities lay ahead in your travels. Visions of when times were truly tough and many things were left undiscovered. You hear the crunch of stones and the shallow splashes of water as you depart your vessel and prepare yourself for land that is now being touched by man for the first time.

Përl - Luminance

Luminance depicts a initiatory journey through the world in five intense and hypnotic tracks. Mixing the minimalism of post rock music and the elephantine sound of the post metal genre, Përl uses every possibilities of its own to deliver an evocative, rich and violent album. The band sends the listener from the abysses of the Himalaya to the mysteries of the human soul... Përl offers the right alternation between minimalism, sensitivity, power and intensity.

Stahlsarg - Mechanisms Of Misanthropy

Stahlsarg are perfectly putting together a vibrating burst of black metal attack with diverse riffings that alternate doomy and mid tempos and loads of speed. This is a black metal album where all the instruments have found a particular equilibrium proportioning definition to each song generated. Mechanisms Of Misanthropy is a complex effort, both technically and emotionally, showing a fierce potential in perfect harmony and balance.

The Eden House - Songs For The Broken Ones

Built around the core duo of guitarist Stephen Carey and bassist Tony Pettitt of Fields Of The Nephilim together with drummer Simon Rippin of The Nephilim and many other notable guest musicians, The Eden House makes timeless music. with lush layers of violin and diverse female vocals, leading them to be described as ethereal wave.
